Hi All,
Ok, everyone has to attend my LAST show at this venue because...I'm going to put in a new spirit rope escape, aka, I'm going to get tied up onstage, and um, hopefully, escape. Actually it's either a rope tie or maybe a straitjacket escape, I have to figure out which one I want to do.
bwahahahahaha. Magical? Yes! Gratuitiously sexy in order to fill seats? You betcha!
===================
Don't Miss This Stunning Performance of Magic!
What: The Maritess Queen of Magic Show
Who: Young hip and beautiful, Maritess Zurbano, one of the world's few
female magicians, executes feats of magic, illusions and mentalism in an
edgy show that reveals her coming of age in the mysterious subculture of the
magic world.
When: July 24th
Where: D Lounge-- below the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York's Union Square, 101
E. 15th Street
Why: Because she can! She has the gift of magic, a great story to tell and
the desire the share both with the world in an entertaining way.
Extra little, but vitally important details:
-Due to some adult themes, this show is better suited to those over 18
-Zurbano got her training first in Chicago, then in Las Vegas where she
spent 7 years with mentor Gary Darwin.
-She has performed all over the world, at every major hotel on the Vegas
Strip and has put her talent up against the best of the best at the
Federacion Internacionale Societes des Magique competition in Portugal.
-Audiences love her show. Here are some comments from her may 16 New
Yorkpremiere.
"I loved that it was a "show within a show" - not only does Maritess have
the ability to transport objects - she'll "transport your mind," Drew
Bollman
