Monday, 3/3, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Teen Computer Tutors! PC 101
Learn computer and Internet basics! Create an email account, find out what the right mouse button does, learn to copy & paste without using glue or scissors! Call 425-5300 to reserve an hour on Internet Computer 6! The tutors are teens who have completed a special orientation; ANYONE can sign up!
Tuesday, 3/4, 5- 6 p.m. Online Chess!
The Longview Public Library Chess Club and Chess Coach Michael Taylor host multi-player online chess on the Internet Computers. All youth (able to play chess) are invited to call 425-5300 to reserve a computer!
Tuesday, 3/4, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Teen Tuesday:
All entries into the Teen Tech Week promotional song contest will be played (mp3 formats) or projected (videos). All entries will receive prizes! We will also demo our new Rock Band equipment purchased with our Teen Tech Week grant.

Learn how to place requests for DVD's 24/7.Renew books online! Take a free tutorial or practice for the SAT! Locate repair instructions for your ride! Check out the library website or look at the Teen MySpace page! Learn all this and more! Call 425-5300 to reserve an hour on Internet Computer 6! The tutors are teens who have completed a special orientation. ANYONE can sign up for a free tutoring session!
Thursday, 3/6, 5 - 6 p.m. Online Audiobook Discussion!*
What do She's the Man, 10 Things I Hate About You, and O have in common, besides being set in American high schools? They are all based on Shakespeare!
There are several great recordings of Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, and Othello; join in for a live online discussion with Genevieve Kolve, Artist-in-Residence for the Columbia Theatre's Shakespeare Project. The Teen Music Club sponsors this multi-faceted event! Link your faves from our Playlist to the Project Playlist website, and hear the music. Swap your CD's for new tunes! Jam with our new Rock Band and learn to play a real guitar! Listen to entries into the Teen Tech Week promotional song (pdf) contest.
Saturday, 3/8, 2 - 3 p.m. MMPORG; MapleStory
Play MapleStory on the Library Computers, on your laptop with the library Wi-Fi, or join in from home! We will also be featuring the winning music video on our website this day.
March 11: TeenScreen Darkon
Go inside the fantasy world of Darkon as a group of players enter this role-playing game that allows them to act as medieval soldiers and princes.
