What is Quizzo?
Quizzo is the latest trend in trivia with teams composed of 5 people competing against one another in four rounds of questions. Our quizzo will focus on the latest safe sex talk, celebrity gossip, and social change activism, but lots more focus on sex and celebrities because that’s where the fun is at. What are we raising money for?
Our Quizzo events raise money to support the Tri-State Grassroots Gathering, which brings together diverse grassroots organizations, organizing in working class and poor communities in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware region. The Tri-State Grassroots Gathering is coordinated by the Working Group for a Grassroots Movement, a group of people who are working to build the capacity of grassroots organizations through helping to create a process for community empowerment. The Working Group was initiated by CATA- Farmworker Support Committee, Urban Rural Mission, and Community Organizing Collective. The money we fundraise will go towards this work.
