The LA premiere of the Helen Hayes award nominated, hit show by Steve Connell and Sekou (tha Misfit)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 22:
A One Night Only reunion of members of the Tony Award winning cast of Def Poetry Jam!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 23:
"Kill the Poets"
A celebrity reading of Steve Connell's exciting new play

SUNDAY, AUGUST 24:
"Same Train" by Levy Lee Simon
A collection of songs and stories and spoken-word vignettes reflecting the African American experience of the past hundred years.

A Shocase of poetry featuring poets from the Gay and Lesbian Community

Immediately Following...Solo Work from legendary L.A. poet Jerry Quickley.

Da Poetry Lounge, featuring “Champions Slam” National Slam Poetry Champions from the last 10 years, plus special guests.
