This is a rally against hate and inequality. I am so proud to be a part of this movement.

Look for us out front with our No on Prop 8 t-shirts and signs. Definitely come with your own signs, banners and t-shirts!! Anyone have a megaphone?

"Protesting, demonstrations or picketing activities that uses the public sidewalk do not require a permit from the City.

There are rules that you must follow so as not to violate several laws:

You can not block the sidewalk where it prevents the use by other citizens
You can not block ingress or egress to the doors of the building...(etc)"

There are some local night clubs that have generously donated resources and services to help the protest. Listed below are some things around town that may help in making Saturday flow well.

The CockPit:

Parking at Caesar Chavez and San Jacinto-3-4 blocks from City Hall.
They have said that they would also have free ice and water

Rusty Spurs: :

Will open at 11:00am on Saturday to give people a place to gather.
Will have free coffee and snacks for the protesters as well.
Parking near by 405 E. 7th Street
