This Wednesday, March 15, caring and concerned citizens around the world will be voicing their strong opposition to the slaughter of more than 300,000 baby harp and hood seals in Canada. As part of this international day of protest against the seal hunt, local activists will be holding a demonstration in Halifax, and we'd love for you to join us. Everyone who attends will receive 1,500 peta2 Street Team points. If you bring at least three people with you to the demonstration, we'll give you a 500-point bonus.
Here are the details of the protest:
Date: This Wednesday, March 15
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Public Library on the corner of Spring Garden and Grafton Street in Halifax
All the materials needed for this demo will be provided. We'll need people who can pass out leaflets and hold posters. This is a very important protest—so even if you have never come out to a demonstration before, let this be your first! The seals desperately need your help.
