As many of you know, PETA is campaigning against
KFC to get the company to adopt some minimal animal welfare guidelines for the chickens who are raised and killed for their restaurants. Noah Cooper, peta2 Street Team Specialist, will be coming to
Portsmouth on
Monday, 5 June, to lead a special demonstration outside a local KFC, and we need your help to make it a success. To give you a little extra incentive to protest with him, youll earn 1,500
peta2 Street Team points for attending. On top of that, if you bring three or more people with you, we'll give you a free PETA t-shirt!
Here are the details of the demo:
Monday, 5 June
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
KFC, 250-252 Commercial Road
Portsmouth, Hampshire
All the leaflets, posters, and stickers needed for the demo will be provided, so all you'll need to bring is yourself and anyone else who is interested in attending! At the protest we'll have a person in a chicken costume in a wheelchair to illustrate the fact that KFC is crippling chickens. Let us know if you are interested in wearing the costume.
